Country Dance and Song Society (CDSS) is the umbrella group under which Cincinnati English Country Dancers and Cincinnati Contra Dance is organized. The CDSS Traveling Exec will have their semi-annual meeting in Cincinnati the weekend of Feb 7 – 9. Cincinnati was one of the five founding cities that created CDSS in 1915.
In addition to the weekly Thursday dance, we will have a special dance on Friday. Dances will be called by CDSS Board Members with music by The Ed Strelau Band. Church of Ascension & Holy Trinity at 334 Burns Avenue, Wyoming, OH 45215. Members $5, Non-Members $10 Questions? Contact Mike Self.

- Thursday Feb 6, 8p-10p, Weekly English Dance at Church of Ascension & Holy Trinity
- Saturday Feb 8, 8 – 11:30 pm Contra Dance, called by Kathy Anderson, music by SuperTrad + Brian Lindsay. Come dance with lots of friendly, happy people! Wyoming Fine Arts Center, 322 Wyoming Ave, Wyoming, OH 45215
- Sunday Feb 9, Noonish Community Meeting with CDSS, Wyoming Fine Arts Center. Share your questions and concerns with the national leadership!
- Sunday Feb 9, 4:30 pm Shape-Note Singing (aka Sacred Harp singing) and potluck supper at Community Friends Meeting, 3960 Winding Way, Cincinnati 45229 North Avondale. $2 donation requested. Plenty of Sacred Harp books will be available. Singing in a different key, very accessible to those who may not read music.
